MicroLab Devices

Friday, February 27, 2015 - Audacia

MicroLab have successfully deployed the initial release of their mobile “Lateral Flow Reader” device, developed in partnership with Audacia.  The Android application developed to run on Nexus 7 devices is responsible for capturing and processing chemical analysis test results.

MicroLab Devices was founded in 2010 to facilitate the development and commercialisation of microfluidic based systems focused around "smart diagnostics". The concept of a "smart diagnostic" is not solely centred on medical or human health diagnostics, but is used to describe the process of making laboratory based protocols smarter, that is, quicker, lower cost, higher through-put, less human interaction, automated upstream and downstream data and improved sample processing.
